Campsite rules (please check if there have been any changes when you arrive at the site):
In order to ensure the TentBox Community maintains its great reputation, and everybody stays safe, it’s important that we follow the campsite rules at all times.

Please read the full list of campsite rules below:

- Dangerous Dogs Act: Absolutely no breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) will be permitted on site. This will be clearly communicated
to all attendees.
- Campfire Fuel: All fuel, logs, and coal for campfires will be purchased on-site, as per campsite policy. This will be communicated in pre-event information.
- Lighting: Guests will be strongly advised to bring good quality torches, as
parts of the site are unlit. This will be highlighted in pre-event
communications.
- No Electricity: As there is no electricity available on site, attendees will be advised to bring portable power solutions (e.g., power banks, solar chargers) for their devices.
- Waste Management: A strict "leave no trace" policy will be enforced. There are no bins on site, so all rubbish will need to be taken home by individual attendees. This will be communicated clearly and repeatedly in all event information.
- Fire Safety: All group campfires will be supervised, and fire pits will be used as required by the campsite. Attendees will be reminded of fire safety guidelines.
- Noise: Participants will be reminded to be mindful of noise levels, especially during evening hours, to ensure a peaceful environment for all campers.

Facilities & food:
- Pitches: 30 dedicated pitches available, suitable for Tentbox setups.
- Essential Amenities: Clean toilets, hot showers, and a dedicated washing-up area.
- Campfires: Allowed with strict adherence to site rules (raised off the
ground), with fire pits available for use.
- No Electricity: Please note that there is no electricity available on site. Attendees should be prepared for off-grid camping.
- Local Amenity: The George Inn, a pub serving excellent food, is
conveniently located just a 15-minute downhill walk from the campsite, offering an alternative for meals or socialising.
- The campsite also provides easy access to a short drive to nearby towns including Wells (famous for its stunning cathedral), Glastonbury (known for its spiritual significance and Tor), and Street (home to Clark's Village outlet shopping), offering additional opportunities for exploration and entertainment.

Safeguarding & other important points to understand:
- Responsibility for running and organising the Meet-Up is solely with the organiser(s) named above.
- TentBox is not involved in the organisation or running of the event.
- Meet-Ups are run by volunteers on a not for profit basis.
- TentBox is keen to support its community to enjoy meet-ups safely and expects TentBox organisers and participants to abide by:
- The TentBox Meet-ups Guidance
- The TentBox Safeguarding and Dispute Resolution Guidance.
- Each participant (including the organisers) is responsible for themselves and for others in their group. Each individual is responsible for making their own bookings directly with the campsite and for their behaviour when joining the Meet-Up, so do respect the rules and always act with safety in mind. Do not get involved in any activities which you feel uncomfortable with or feel incapable of doing.
- All event organisers are volunteers and they are permitted to run Meet-Ups provided that the events are run in line with the Guidance listed above and also in accordance with the TentBox Meet-Up Ts&Cs.
- Our hope is that our community enjoys these events safely. If you have any questions or concerns please speak to the event organiser. If you are not satisfied with the outcome or if you feel it is not appropriate to raise your concern with this person or if you cannot contact them, please reach out to our team at c3VwcG9ydCB8IHRlbnRib3ggISBjb20=.
- If we are made aware of any complaints which might relate to criminal activity or if we think there is a risk to someone’s safety we will contact the appropriate authorities.
- The continued success of the Meet-Ups relies on all organisers and participants working positively together. We reserve the right to take swift and appropriate action (for example, banning organisers from planning further Meet-Ups) if we have concerns.
- The event organiser(s) (not TentBox) are your point of contact before and during the event.
- Event organisers do this voluntarily, so please always treat them with the respect they deserve. If you would like to run your own TentBox Meet-Up, view our guide here: https://bit.ly/TentBox-Meet-Ups
